ESL Writing Class

Calling all ESL students who want to write better English!  Join the Plainsboro Public Library’s ESL Writing class every Monday on Zoom, starting  September 13, at 7 p.m.

The class will meet for an hour and a half each week for ten sessions.  If you speak and understand English well but have trouble writing it, this hands-on session is definitely for you…

Basic grammar – such as tenses, sentence structure, plurals,  prepositions, etc. – will be addressed as needed.  Different kinds of writing will be reviewed, like a job or school application, e-mails to doctor or child’s teacher, resumes, etc. The course will include in-class writing projects, as well as group exercises and some homework. Students should be prepared to attend all class sessions and complete homework assignments.
